Abstract

In this paper, a novel control strategy based on fuzzy control is introduced to decrease the difference temperature between the two layers in a hermetic chamber with three layer discrete heat sources on both sidewalls (a multi-input-multi-output system). The overall measurement and temperature control system is implemented in PLC and fuzzy control is realized in MATLAB, so we make PLC communicates with MATLAB based on OPC technology. The experiment results show that a better dynamic response and steady-state characteristic of the temperature control system and a well uniformity of the temperature in the chamber can be well achieved by this control strategy and the fuzzy controller.
