Abstract

N-R algorithm, surface fitting algorithm, gradient algorithm and IC-GN algorithm are the main sub-pixel displacement measurement algorithms in digital image correlation method to improve the displacement measurement accuracy. In this paper, the simulation speckle pattern is generated by computer numerical simulation to carry out experiments, and the calculation accuracy and efficiency of the above four algorithms are compared. The results show that the N-R algorithm has the lowest calculation efficiency and the surface fitting method has the lowest calculation accuracy. The calculation efficiency and accuracy of gradient algorithm, IC-GN method are between N-R algorithm and surface fitting method, which is more suitable for engineering applications.
