Abstract

For the interconnection of a mixed-critical electronic system in the future, the concept of a unified network should be implemented, that is, all the requirements of interconnection should be covered by only one kind of network. Real-time Ethernet is the most promising solution, and data flow control strategy is the basis for the real-time performance of switched Ether-net. This paper proposes a method of optimal selection of data flow control strategies in a switched Ethernet, which can meet the transmission requirements of data flows with different timing requirements and provide reference for the realization of a unified network of mixed-critical systems.
