Abstract

Field mill electric field sensor is an important means of high voltage direct current (HVDC) electric field measurement. It is widely used in the electric field measurement of the HVDC transmission line environment in the form of an array. In the electric field measurement array, the inconsistency of the sensitivity coefficients of each sensor will affect the accuracy and reliability of the measurement. In this paper, combined with the measurement principle of field mill electric field sensor, according to the actual measurement data, the method which accesses the main influencing components of the sensitivity coefficient matrix is used to analyze what affects the consistency. Here, we find phase difference between the input signals of phase-sensitive detection is the main cause of inconsistency.
