Abstract

The dispersion mechanism of warhead fragment impelled by shockwave under one-end initiation was studied based on the analysis method of micro-column. Combined with an amendable method for the fragment initial velocity, a calculation method for the distribution of dispersed direction of fragment along the warhead axis was built based on the micro-column. The experiment research on the fragment dispersed direction was carried out with a sector target and longitude-latitude analysis method. The accuracy of the calculation method for the fragment dispersed direction was verified. The investigation on dispersion characteristic of fragment provides an important basis for the control and application of the fragment dispersed direction.
