Abstract
Simulation based design is broadly used in concept design, preliminary design and detail design of complex product virtual prototype. Complex products in aeronautics and astronautics have complex structures, complex behavior and complex composition and interaction of multidiscipline. This paper presents a collaborative simulation technology based multidiscipline virtual prototype high level modeling and optimization design method which provides means of model based optimization design for multidiscipline system founded on system-level modeling and integration of multidiscipline tools by collaborative simulation technology and grid technology. The architecture and key technologies of high level modeling and optimization design environment under simulation grid and high level modeling and optimization design method are presented in detail. At last, its application paradigm is concluded.
