Abstract

This paper presents a novel method to suppress neutral harmonic currents in three-phase four-wire power systems. The significant advantages include low cost, high reliability, good effectiveness, free of LC resonance and flexible installation location. Furthermore, under unbalanced loading, only harmonics in the neutral current are suppressed while the fundamental currents are not affected. In the end, simulation results verify its effectiveness.
