Research of welding torch location system under laser detection

Abstract

A laser detection system was designed, which can record and describe the position of welding torch in real time. The system consists of the laser collimation system, the CCD imaging system and welding torch system. The height between welding torch and welding mouth was detected by the linear CCD in vertical direction. The horizontal displacement in the operation process was detected by the bridge circuit in horizontal direction. The computer processing technique was adopted, the locus curve of welding torch end was described in real time.
