Research of surface tracing technique in virtual teaching system

Abstract

Aiming at improving the drawbacks of the On-Line-Teaching method and actual Virtual-Teaching method of welding robots, this paper developed a simulation environment of Virtual-Teaching system using PHANToM as interface of mutual force, and introduced the technology of surface tracing based on force -feedback, and put forward the calculating model and rending method of true-feeling virtual force, the experiment has proved the stability and continuity of virtual force and the validity of surface tracing.
