Abstract
The architecture and structural composition of the PHM system based on open system architecture for condition-based maintenance (OSA-CBM) is summarized. The current developed techniques and methods of PHM in several industries such as aviation, military and manufacture are analyzed. The technical applications involve sensor, data transmission, fault diagnosis, fault prognostics, decision support and interface, etc. The current research and application of three PHM methods for electronics are also discussed.
