Abstract

As science and technology developed so fast, space mechanisms have become complex electromechanical system. With prominent characters of multi-factor, multi-level and high-dynamic, dynamical cascading reliability problems of space mechanisms have been increasingly complex and cannot match the assumptions of static state, independence and large samples of traditional reliability theory. Based on Discrete Bayesian Networks, this paper establishes dynamical cascading reliability model of space mechanisms with the introduction of dynamic response and clearance. By using hierarchies theory and uncertainty propagation directed graph thought and according to product components of system and its hierarchical relationship, this paper describes dynamical cascading reliability issues of space mechanisms in detail and works the problems that traditional reliability modeling methods cannot accurately describe and estimate results easily. In the last, the proposed reliability modeling method is verified by a two-axis-position mechanism.
