Abstract

To solve the problem of reliability modeling and evaluation of integrated modular avionics (IMA), this study extends the multi-state system with common bus performance sharing based on the stricture and work principles of IMA. Subsequently, based on the extended model, the universal generating function is applied to evaluate the reliability of IMA. Finally, a case study on the integrated task processing system in IMA is used to analyze the impact of changes in the number of spare general processing units on system reliability, with the aim is to validate the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed model.
