Reliability-based sensitivity design of series and parallel electro-Mechanical systems

Abstract

Based on the reliability design theory and the sensitivity analysis method, the reliability-based sensitivity model of the electro-mechanical systems is established, the numerical method for reliability sensitivity design is presented, and the sensitivity analysis is extended to discuss the mathematical evaluation methods of the reliability sensitivity with the variational ranom design parameters. For series systems and parallel systems, the mathematical formulas for the sensitivity analysis of system reliability are presented. The variation regularities of reliability sensitivity are obtained and the effects of design parameters respect to reliability of the electro-Mechanical system are studied. The results, which are illustrated in the numerical example, are testified the presented method has provided the theoretic basis for reliability design of the electro-Mechanical system.
