Reliability assessment method for integrated modular avionics system based on bayesian network

Abstract

The integrated modular avionics (IMA) system can be considered as the platforms for the integration of a series of flexible, reusable, interoperable hardware and software resources, and the application of each function to complete the tasks. The mechanism of IMA system share resources through share time and space partitions. This paper introduce a method to deal with the IMA reliability assessment method for the software reconfiguration process. The method combine with the component-based software reliability theory to deal with the reliability of the system status and the Bayesian network theory to deal with the insufficient data to assessment. Finally the reliability assessment method of system reconfiguration process is described.
