Abstract

The method of reliability assessment and life prediction for zero-failure data of satellite engines is presented in the paper. Thus the one-sided lower confidence limits of reliability and life for zero-failure data can be calculated by the method. The reliability assessment and life prediction of the two-parameter Weibull and log-normal distributions are discussed at some length. The method for strong test and weak test of satellite engines are established, which can inspect and control the quality of satellite engines with a high precision. The method has been used in the reliability assessment and life prediction of some satellite engines successfully.
