Abstract

Reliability analysis of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) maintenance mode has been an important topic in the development of UAV technology. The object of this study is the parts replacement process, which is a common maintenance method of UAV. Reliability of the conventional parts replacement process is analysed, as well as the reliability of each link of the process, using GO method. Results of this study could provide references for practical activities, such as determining weak links in the maintenance process, elevating the maintenance process reliability and improving maintenance efficiency. GO method is a success-oriented reliability analysis method, which is mainly applicable to the complex systems with multi states, timing sequence or signal feedback. And it is particularly suitable for the reliability analysis of systems with actual logistics process like the objective of this study.
