Abstract
Under simulated industrial dry-room conditions, Cl-rich argyrodite Li5.4PS4.4Cl1.6 better preserves its structure, Li-ion transport, electronic insulation and cell performance than the high-conductivity Li5.5PS4.5Cl1.5, owing to a pre-existing amorphous LiCl surface layer. These results refine host selection criteria for Cl-rich argyrodite electrolytes.
