Abstract

Based on musical acoustics, room acoustics and partial psychoacoustics, an underline sound modelling method is proposed by compressor, amplifier, exciter and equalizer, etc. Frequency spectrum analysing was realized by FFT discrete transform and hamming window function. Compressor is designed to limit the dynamic range of audio clips with a 5 segment linear approaching method is presented in audible domain. Exciter is presented to enhance the characteristic timbre and some pure tone experiments are also proposed in audio simulation systems. Real-time frequency spectrum is proposed by equalizer parameters adjusting with different bandwidth and gains. Sound rendering technologies are also discussed by crucial factors such as equivalent absorption coefficient, RT time (reverberation time), and runtime spectrum curve matching technics. An advanced real-time sound rendering system was adopted using real-time rendering algorithms based on Direct-Sound 8 FX groups of sound effect parameters.
