Quality problem processing model based on zero-remains principle for complex product development

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

To improve the closed loop control capability and collaboration of the quality problem processing in complex product development environment, a quality problem processing model was put forward based on zero-remains mode. In this model, the quality problem resolving process was described as a network of multi-level, multi-connection and closed loop. A structure named zero-remains-issue-object was constructed to encapsulate the information of quality problems and a structure named issue-token was used to ensure the quality problem resolving process in an orderly way. Finally, by using the status vector, an algorithm was designed to trace the status of a quality problem and ensure a closed loop process.
