Abstract
Particles of electromagnetic wave absorbing take a key effect on the electromagnetic protection and the radar wave absorbing. In this paper, microorganisms are used as the substrate of the sol-gel coating processing. A layer of Fe3O4 was deposit on the microbial surface, and the corresponding absorbing particles are prepared. Developing the study of the morphology, composition, microwave magnetic parameters. Experiments show that the layer of bio-absorbing particles, spinel ferrite Fe3O4, whose thickness is less than 3 microns. Spiral-shaped biological absorbing particles, coated with ferrite, have a good performance. Silicone rubber is used as a binder prepared by 1.2 mm thick mixed spiral of absorbing particles coating. The results showed that the reflective losses are more than -10 dB in 10-16 GHz.
