Abstract

ZnO:Zn luminescence film and powders have been prepared in reductive atmosphere of N2 + H2. XRD, SEM, FT-IR, EPR and PL spectra were used to characterize the structure, morphology and luminescence property of the ZnO:Zn films and powders. ZnO: Zn luminescence films have a hexagonal wurtzite structure and are highly c-axis oriented. A single peak of green was observed when excitated by 373 nm ultraviolet radiation and voltage. The binding energy of Ols shows that the point defects in the film play an important role in the green luminescence.
