title = "Prediction of unsteady characteristics of shock-separated turbulent flow using DDES methodology",
abstract = "Delayed detached eddy simulations (DDES) of the supersonic cavity-ramp flow have been carried out with different numerical schemes (WENO and Roe). Computational results are compared to experimental data and the discrepancies of simulation results between WENO scheme and Roe scheme are discussed. The calculated mean and root mean square (RMS) wall pressure results show reasonable agreement with experimental data, which certify the capability of DDES method to predict wall pressure fluctuations accurately in supersonic compressible flow. DDES results of RMS mass flux profiles are also compared with experimental data. Besides, some experimentally observed unsteady flow features are also founded in the simulation.",
