title = "Prediction of Creep Characteristics in DZ406 Superalloy Using the θ-Projection Method and Phenomenological Microstructure Evolution Models: From Smooth Specimens to Simulated Specimens",
abstract = "In this paper, straightforward approaches for predicting the creep behavior and microstructure evolution of both smooth specimens and simulated specimens made from DZ406 superalloy were proposed in this study. For smooth specimens, the creep deformation behavior was accurately simulated using a slip-based θ-projection method, and both the matrix channel width and precipitate phase volume fraction were predicted based on phenomenological models, with prediction errors of 16\% and 12\%, respectively. Furthermore, a simulated specimen of the trailing-edge film-cooling hole in the turbine blade was designed based on the consistency of the equivalent creep strain rate, and both creep tests and creep characteristic predictions for the simulated specimen were conducted. The predicted maximum stress location coincided with fracture location in the experiment, and the microstructure evolution in the stress concentration region near the hole of the simulated specimen could be effectively described using the stabilized stress parameters after relaxation, with a prediction error of 17\%.",
