Abstract

The synthesis of porous carbon electrode via chemical vapor deposition of ferrocene using hard template method was reported. The specific surface area of this carbon reaches 804 m 2/g and the median micropore size is 0.94 nm. The gravimetric capacitance of this carbon material is 112 F/g in 6 M KOH electrode at a sweep rate of 2 mV/s.
