Polymer in situ embedding for highly flexible, stretchable and water stable PEDOT:PSS composite conductors

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) and polydimethylsiloxane (PEDOT:PSS@PDMS) composite conductors have been obtained by embedding PDMS oligomers and curing agents into a 3D PEDOT:PSS aerogel. The novel 3D elastic network formed by in situ polymerization serves as a support for this brittle aerogel. The as-prepared PEDOT:PSS@PDMS conductors show highly flexible, stretchable and water stable properties.
