Abstract
Plastic anisotropic behavior in strength (variation of yield strength in three direction) and plastic flow (variation of r-value in three direction) of 2B06 aluminum alloy sheet in temper O and temper W is investigated by uniaxial tensile tests at angles 0°, 45° and 90° from the rolling axis. It is found that yield strength and strain hardening vary significantly with temper, but plastic anisotropy in strength and plastic flow vary little with temper and what little there is falls within the range of experimental scatter. Hill48 yield criterion is calibrated by experimental data obtained and yield loci is drawn. It is found that plastic anisotropic behavior of W temper is possible to be described by using the shape of the yield surface of O temper. So the amount of empirical testing to calibrate the constitutive model in W temper is decreased significantly.
