Abstract

The primary zone flow field of the swirler's convergent sleeve was measured by PIV technology under atmospheric pressure and temperature, providing detailed information on the primary zone flow field and vorticity field. The results show that the primary zone flow field of the convergent sleeve has a structure of small recirculation and big corner swirls, and the constriction of convergent sleeve on circumgyrated air could improve the mixing of air and fuel in a combustor.
