Abstract

Bi2WO6/ZnFe2O4 integrated particles prepared by a facile two-step thermosynthesis possess large specific surface area and fair response to visible light so as to perform maximally photocatalytic decomposition toward rhodamine B under visible light irradiation. The morphology of the composite is influenced by pH value of the reaction solution. The photocatalytic performance of the composite under visible light irradiation also strongly depends on the morphology beside pH value. The catalyst incorporated with magnetic species provides an effective way to retrieve and recycle the material by realizing fast separability. The composite is of high stability and exhibits both remarkable photocatalystic ability and excellent reusability.
