Abstract
Bismuth tungstate (Bi2WO6)/nickel ferrite (NiFe2O4) heterostructural particles are successfully synthesised through a two-step thermosynthesismethod. The pH value in the reaction systemplays a vital role in the formation of the morphology of the composite, and has much effect on the photocatalytic activity for the decomposition towards Rhodamine B (RhB) under visible-light irradiation. The composite exhibits remarkable adsorption and high photocatalytic activity of RhB with excellent reusability, owing to the complex structures and the incorporated magnetic species.
