Abstract
A novel scheme for distinguishing with high contrast between different, coded ultrafast optical waveforms for proposed coherent code-division multiple access (CDMA) networking is presented. The scheme is based on second-harmonic generation (SHG) under conditions of large group velocity mismatch (GVM).
