Abstract

In this paper, integration of an UWB array-based time-domain radar sensor in a vehicle-mounted multi-sensor system for landmine detection is described. Dedicated real-time signal processing algorithms are developed to compute the radar sensor confidence map which is used for sensor fusion. Performance of developed algorithms for stand-alone GPR sensor and multi- sensor suit is verified experimentally.
