Abstract
RMTSS (reliability, maintainability, testability, supportability and safety) synthetic design platform is necessary to improve RMTSS performance of weapons. Firstly, the framework of a PDM-based RMTSS synthetic design platform is established, and the applicability of the current PDM-based system integration technologies (information modeling technology and interface integrating technology) are analyzed. Secondly, to enhance reusability of the PDM-based system integration technologies, a MDA-based information modeling and component-based interface integrating method is presented. The former applies MDA technology into information modeling. According to the business demands, an information model independent with PDM is constructed with UML. When being integrated to a certain PDM, it can be translated to the PDM-related information model through MDA tools with little modification. The latter improves system interface development by using Component Programming. Standardized interfaces according PDM integration criterion are presented, and example codes of how to implement the interfaces to some certain PDM are given. At last, the above-mentioned methods are validated by integrating two reliability CAD applications into the RMTSS synthetic design platform.
