Abstract
In view of the weak point in driving range of electric vehicles (EVS), the more systemic calculation model of driving range is proposed in the EVS dynamics aspect. Influence of the parameters design in power train and gross mass of EVS on the driving range is discussed. Based on the type of XL2000, the driving range is calculated and analysed in matching to the two sorts of different power trains. The calculation results are listed. Test results ulteriorly indicate that the error is smaller than 5% between calculated results and test datum. The rationality of established model is verified. It has reference value and guiding meaning for making simulation study using this method in the sample design of EVS.
