Abstract

The optimization characteristic of equal-ripple general Chebyshev functions is described, and the filter synthesis from design target using these functions is represented. Further more, the introduction of signal flow chart is very helpful in determining the topological structure of the filters. This paper is highly valuable in design of the filters with finite transmission zeros.
