Abstract
The 2D and 3D supersonic combustion flowfields of hydrogen/hydrocarbon were numerically studied. Two benchmark cases, including parallel injection of hydrogen and pre-burned kerosene, were used to test the codes. The computational results of the supersonic mixing and combustion were compared with the available experimental data. The codes were then used to simulate the 3D vertical injection of hydrogen in a supersonic airstream. It is found that the The supersonic mixing and combustion process of hydrogen can be observed clearly and the distribution of the combustion products is reasonable. The codes are proven to be capable of simulating the complex flow field of scramjet combustor.
