Abstract
A brief dimensionless mathematical model for a desiccant wheel was presented. An object functions of treating average outlet moisture content of process air and dehumidification effectiveness of the wheel, the effects of wheel structure, heat and mass transfer capacities, operating modes and inlet states of air-streams on the performance of the wheel are analyzed quantitatively, which provide the theoretical support for optimizing performance of the dehumidifier.
