Abstract
Numerical results are presented by simulating the separated flow around a WIG craft in flight close to ground at a high incidence angle. The Farve-averaged N-S equation of steady compressible flow and the standard k-ε turbulence model are solved by Fluent software. The effects of flight height on the separated flow a-round wings of WIG craft are provided. Why flow separates at lower flight height is explained. The effects of the separated flow on aerodynamics of WIG craft are analyzed in detail.
