Abstract
The tandem stators of a high load axial compressor have been optimized by changing three-dimensional (3-D) stacklines near the hub. An in-housed optimization platform for 3-D numerical aerodynamics design of compressors was used and the complex method was adopted. After the optimization, the separation near the hub has been removed, and the performance of the compressor has been effectively improved.
