Abstract

A novel method of calibrating the angle-measurement error of resolver is presented, which is based on speed rate table constant-speed rotating and fix-location rotating. In this research. The method can get the whole 0-360° error curve exactly, and the various items of the error are modeled into two parts, cycle-part and trend-part, which are compensated using Fourier harmonic analysis and least square fitting method respectively. Experiments prove that this method significantly improves the accuracy of resolver, and solves the issues about continuous automatic cyber-sampling and compensation under complex harmonic structure, so that the calibration efficiency has been greatly enhanced.
