Abstract
The yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) projection tubes, with multilayer interference filters, were developed. The filter in YAG projection tube required a highly controlled deposition technology as the filter exhibited an individual layer thickness. Analysis showed that the performances of luminance, chromaticity for the tubes with good resolution and contrast were improved.
