N2 - For the video surveillance system, the most important thing that it cares about is changed images. It's necessary to research on the robust and real-time movement detection and abnormity alert algorithm. In this paper, a multilevel determination based movement detection algorithm is proposed. It is used to eliminate the influence of vibrating pixels, simultaneously guaranteeing the sensibility of real-time detection and the adequacy of long period of saving. The experiments show that the algorithm is robust to noise and vibrating pixels, and it can performs on real-time.
