Abstract

A new multiresolution multiple-model (MMM_NEW) algorithm based on model mixing is proposed. The algorithm combines the advantages of MMM algorithm with that of the interacting multiple model algorithm, thus it outperforms both algorithm. The MMM_NEW algorithm employs model-mixing method only when targets are in maneuvering situation and in several frames after the maneuvering ends.
