Abstract
A new multiresolution multiple-model (MMMNEW) algorithm based on model mixing is proposed. The algorithm combines the advantages of MMM algorithm with that of the interacting multiple model algorithm, thus it outperforms both algorithm. The MMMNEW algorithm employs model-mixing method only when targets are in maneuvering situation and in several frames after the maneuvering ends.
