Multi-position north-seeking error analysis of FOG north-seeker

Abstract

The error models of FOG north-seeker and FOG are founded. The influences of FOG bias, FOG drift, accelerometer bias, the change of the earth velocity and earth magnetic filed with azimuth on the FOG and FOG north-seeker are analyzed. The reasons that produce multi-position north-seeking error and the methods that reduce the multi-position north-seeking error are given. The correctness of theoretical analysis and the validity of methods are proved in the FOG north-seeker.
