Abstract
A multi-point genetic algorithm (GA) has been developed by introducing Pareto ranking and fitness-sharing techniques. The algorithm coupled with NUMECA/Igg and Fine software packages is used to optimize a NACA cascade airfoil at different points of attack angles simultaneously. The multi-point optimization results show that the platform developed is effective and efficient in multi-point aerodynamic design optimization applications.
