Abstract

In this paper, we combine Genetic algorithm (GA) and plane wave spectrum (PWS) to obtain of the aperture distribution transmission array in order to generate high-quality quiet zone for Compact Antenna Test Range (CATR). It is found that the amplitude and phase of the near-field quiet zone can be optimized by the proposed approach effectively and efficiently.
