Abstract

Because of the single direction incidence from the sun and the partial shielding effect by the antenna's truss, large temperature gradient and deformation may occur on the structure of the antenna during its movement in space, which will have a great effect on the accuracy and reception quality of the antenna reflector. For such problems, the transmittance of the antenna surface weave structure was studies in this paper. First, simplified analysis were made on the complex surface weave structure of the antenna, and triangle membrane element physical model was built. Then the change of direct transmittance and indirect transmittance of single triangle membrane element were analyzed using Monte Carlo method under different zenith angles and azimuthal angles. The results show that the scale parameter of net surface structure has a great effect on its transmittance.
