Abstract

In practical applications, the need for moving target recognition is growing, necessitating the development of an intelligent monitoring system that can achieve the same level of precision while assuring real-time performance. We present a campus intelligent video surveillance system that is created utilizing a target detecting approach that combines frame differential method with background removal method, as well as a dynamic target tracking method that combines particle filter and color feature matching. Experiments proved that the system works well and can solve the problems of background interference in target detection and occlusion-robust effectively.
