Abstract
The monodispersed polystyrene (PS) microspheres templates arc produced by dispersion polymerization and the surface modification of templates is carried out by simple sulphonation with concentrated sulfuric acid. Anilines arc polymerized on the surface of sulphonated PS core through the condition of adulterating HCl with the appropriate concentration. After removing PS cores with N, N-Dimethyl formamide DMF, the uni form 0.8-1.2 μm PANT microspheres are obtained. If Fe3O4 nanoparticles are added into the system during the polymerizing process, PANI-Fe3O4 composites microspheres can also obtained. The electromagnetic parameters are tested by wave-guide experiments in the range of 2-18 GHz, results show that there is obvious change of magnetic conductivity between PANI-Fe3O4 composite microspheres and PANI microspheres, and PANI-Fe3O4 composites microspheres possess high value of dielectric constant tangent. Finally, the analysis of microwave absorbing performance tests demonstrate that hollow PANI microspheres have better microwave absorbing performance than solid PANI micropheres in the range of 8-12 GHz.
