Abstract
DV-Hop is a canonical range-free localization algorithm for wireless sensor networks. Estimating and properly using the average one-hop distance is the core of DV-Hop algorithm, which deciding the final localization precision. A novel algorithm based on DV-Hop is proposed to partly figure out the two problems. Routing void problem is partly settled by the angle-method proposed in the paper. And diversified average one-hop size is used when estimating the distance from unknown nodes to anchors. The final localization precision is improved based on the two methods.
