Abstract

The trimmable horizontal stabilizer actuator (THSA) is a key part of the aircraft flight control system. This paper focuses on the new electrical type of THSA. System structure and control scheme are firstly introduced and then the mathematical models of its key components are established. The bond graph method is used for system-level modeling and component-level modeling for easily analysis of the power and signal transformation. Finally, the simulation analysis is carried out in 20-sim virtual simulation environment. The result verifies the basic performance for control design and shows the extendibility of the proposed models.
